Summary of key points

This overview helps you navigate the policy. Read the full sections below for details.

  • Access is provided through an event invitation or approved public registration. Public checkout is available only when opened by the administrator.
  • Each authorization permits one attempt. A documented technical retake requires a separate administrator authorization; the original attempt remains recorded.
  • Exams are supervised with photos, audio, and activity records after separate proctoring consent.
  • Work independently. Blank paper and a pen are allowed; calculators, AI tools, and outside assistance are not.
  • New standard sessions require 75/100 to pass. Eligible assessments recognize scores of 85 or above as Distinction.
  • Integrity outcomes are reviewed by administrators. You may request reasons and human review of a disputed result.
  • Issued certificates and badges can be publicly verified and may be revoked following a substantiated decision.
  • Public registration shows the certification price, a separate 2% platform service fee, and the total before QRIS payment. Payment requires manual merchant-history verification.

01

Optional competency profiles and career pathways

You can select individual certificates, career pathway badges, topic competency reports and self-reported project links for a shared profile. Sharing is optional and requires your explicit confirmation. Your name, headline and selected items become visible to anyone with the unguessable link until it expires (7, 30 or 90 days) or you revoke it. Links are not recipient-restricted; viewers can copy information they see. Revocation prevents future access through the platform but cannot recall copies already made.

Shared profiles do not expose your email, account identifiers, exam answers, source code, internal review notes, photos or audio. Topic reports are included only when selected and display available topic percentages and preparation guidance. Projects are self-reported external links, not Pyronyx-assessed or endorsed work. Remove a project to withdraw it from all your profiles. Shared profiles are excluded from our website analytics and marked for search engines not to index.

Following a career pathway does not enroll you in exams or add attempts. Requirements are saved by version when you follow. A combined badge requires all component certificates to be approved and valid, and expires no later than the earliest component expiry. Revoked, disqualified, demonstration or expired component credentials do not satisfy the requirements. Administrators can revise or archive pathways without silently replacing existing followers’ saved requirements. Revoked and expired sharing-link records may be retained for security and account administration; no automatic record-deletion schedule is currently configured.

02

The certification service

1.1 Operator and service

Pyronyx Certification is operated by PT. Data Sorcerers Indonesia and is part of Pyronyx Academy by Data Sorcerers. The Portal provides certification assessments, participant results, administrator review, and verifiable certificates and badges.

1.2 Scope of certification

The Portal focuses on assessment and does not provide a learning course. A credential records achievement against the applicable assessment standard. It does not guarantee training, admission, employment, a professional license, government accreditation, or acceptance by a particular employer or institution.

1.3 Related documents

Read these Terms with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, event conditions, and rules shown before the exam. Event conditions describe matters such as registration eligibility, fees, and scheduling. The assigned session details specify the exam duration and passing threshold. Mandatory rights under applicable law continue to apply.

1.4 Participation and separate consent

Using an account to participate means agreeing to the applicable participation rules. If you do not agree, do not start the exam and contact your organizer. Camera and microphone proctoring require separate consent before the exam begins; visiting the website alone does not constitute recording consent.

03

Accounts, eligibility, and access

2.1 Invitation and assignment

Participation requires an assigned certification, through an event invitation or an approved public registration. Public registration is available only while checkout is open. Use your invitation to activate an account when required. An account alone does not grant access to every certification.

2.2 Account responsibilities

  • Provide accurate details and report corrections to your organizer.
  • Use your own account and do not allow another person to take an exam for you.
  • Choose a new password with 12–128 characters, uppercase and lowercase letters, a number and a special character. Your password must not contain your registered name; enter it twice to confirm it.
  • Keep passwords, invitation links, recovery links, and exam codes confidential.
  • Report suspected unauthorized use promptly. Sign out when finished on a shared device.

2.3 Name and email corrections

Your credential uses the account holder name. Check it before the exam and report errors before issuance where possible. Corrections after issuance may require review of the credential record. Keep your email current so the organizer can contact you.

2.4 Exam codes and replacement

An exam code belongs to a specific account and certification. It cannot override a batch start window or an already-used attempt. If it expires before you start, request a replacement from the organizer. Issuing a replacement code does not add an attempt or reset an existing session. Do not include your exam code in a support message.

2.5 Schedule and eligibility

Follow the start window and eligibility conditions in your invitation and dashboard. Schedules use WIB (Western Indonesia Time) unless otherwise indicated. Follow event age requirements and arrange any required parent or guardian authorization before supervised participation.

04

Preparing and starting your attempt

3.1 Before starting

Exam preparation requirements
RequirementWhat to prepare
Browser and deviceA supported, up-to-date browser and a device capable of running the exam and code editor.
Camera and microphoneWorking devices, browser permission, and a successful device check.
Connection and powerReliable internet and enough battery or power for the session.
EnvironmentA quiet, private, well-lit place with your face visible.
AccessibilityDiscuss any required arrangement with your organizer before starting.

3.2 Device check

The check uses a camera preview and a short microphone sample with playback. It does not use your attempt and its samples are not uploaded. Passing the check confirms readiness at that time; it does not guarantee that devices or connectivity will remain available for the whole exam.

3.3 One attempt

Starting permanently uses the assigned attempt. A new attempt requires a separate authorization. Check the certification, schedule, duration, and rules before starting. A replacement code, refresh, reconnection, or repeated login does not create a new opportunity. For a documented technical incident, an authorized administrator may grant one additional attempt linked to a support ticket, written reason, and event batch. The original attempt and deadline remain in the audit history.

3.4 Session details and timer

New sessions contain 30 questions for technical programs or 50 for Product Development and Management, and allow 120 minutes. The assigned session’s displayed details govern that attempt. Its original deadline continues during connection loss, page refresh, login expiry, and device recovery. Use the recovery controls to return to the same session when available.

3.5 Saving and synchronization

The exam saves answers while connected and displays synchronization status. Pending changes may remain only in the current browser tab until uploaded. Check the last successful save and retry synchronization when needed. Local drafts cannot extend the deadline or replace a conflicting server record. Avoid clearing site data during an unfinished upload.

3.6 Finishing or leaving

  • Finish exam: submits and closes the session for grading and review.
  • End exam early: stops supervision and permanently closes the attempt without restoring it.
  • Time expiry: the server closes the attempt and grades the answers already saved to it. Unsynchronized changes are not guaranteed to be included.
  • Closing a tab: does not pause the deadline and can lose pending changes; it is not a replacement for the finish controls.

3.7 Code execution

Run tests your code using example inputs and is not a graded submission. Use Submit code to evaluate the answer against the challenge’s grading tests. Resubmit after changing code. Execution is subject to configured time, memory, and access restrictions. Do not try to bypass them or run malicious code.

05

Independent work and permitted tools

4.1 Independent work

The assessment measures your own knowledge and skills. Complete it yourself and follow the rules shown for your assigned session.

4.2 Permitted tools

  • Blank paper and a pen for handwritten calculations.
  • Switching tabs or windows to test your own code, within the restrictions below.
  • Pasting your own code into the code editor using Ctrl/Cmd+V.

4.3 Prohibited conduct

  • Using a calculator, AI chatbot, LLM, or other automated answer-generation assistance.
  • Receiving answers or help from another person, sharing answers, impersonation, or having someone else take the exam.
  • Using unauthorized reference material or websites to obtain answers.
  • Copying or cutting exam content, or pasting outside the permitted code editor.
  • Capturing, photographing, recording, publishing, selling, or distributing exam questions, answers, or restricted test cases, including by screenshot.
  • Deliberately concealing your identity, substituting another person or recording for the live camera/microphone feed, or interfering with supervision.
  • Interfering with grading, authentication, another participant’s records, or code-execution restrictions.

4.4 Tabs, devices, and recording

Permission to test your own code elsewhere does not permit AI tools, shared solutions, or outside assistance. Page focus changes are recorded and may be reviewed in context. Keep your face visible and microphone active. Report an accidental interruption using the recovery or support controls.

The browser cannot prove every screenshot or identify all external applications. A shortcut, focus event, or recording gap alone is not proof of a violation.

4.5 Confidentiality

Restricted exam questions, answer keys, and grading test cases remain confidential before and after the attempt. Do not circulate them or descriptions that reveal the restricted content. You may report a concern privately to the organizer without publishing or forwarding question content.

06

Scoring, review, and appeals

5.1 Passing and section scores

New standard sessions require at least 75/100. Eligible assessments in the current question-package series recognize a score of 85 or above as Distinction; the result page shows whether it applies. Your assigned session’s passing threshold governs that attempt.

Results show Theoretical Concepts, Coding Skills, Technical Skills, and Critical Thinking separately. The final score is the sum of earned weighted points, not an unweighted average of section percentages.

5.2 Grading and question-bank revisions

Multiple-choice answers are checked against the assigned answer key. Coding answers are evaluated using the challenge’s tests. Running examples does not submit an answer for grading. A session draws 10 Theoretical Concepts, 5 Coding Skills, 10 Technical Skills and 5 Critical Thinking questions from the published pool; eligible multiple-choice options are shuffled. Scoring corrections on accepted appeals are recorded with administrator identity and reasons. New question-bank publications apply to new attempts; an existing attempt retains its question package and passing threshold.

5.3 Integrity review and issuance

A passing score alone does not issue a certificate. Administrator approval of proctoring review is also required. Reviewers can examine photos, audio, activity records, and answers. Review status and applicable notes appear with your result. Contact your organizer for the expected review timeline.

5.4 Confirmed violations

Administrators can reject a proctoring review or confirm a violation after reviewing evidence. Rejection can prevent issuance or revoke a credential. For a confirmed screenshot violation, the system closes the attempt, sets the final score to zero, and revokes any issued certificate. These consequences require an administrator decision; browser shortcut detection alone does not establish misconduct.

5.5 Requesting reasons and human review

  1. Use Dashboard → Result appeals to submit one formal appeal per completed attempt. You may also contact contact@data-sorcerers.com or your organizer for help.
  2. Include your name, registered email, event, session details or reference number, and a concise explanation. Do not include passwords, exam access codes, or screenshots of questions.
  3. Ask for the reason for the decision, explain any device or connection issue, and provide relevant context through the organizer’s approved channel.
  4. The organizer handles the request and communicates the outcome through the support or event channel.

Submit your concern promptly and ask the organizer about the review procedure and expected response time. Any applicable legal deadline continues to apply. Raising a concern does not automatically pause the timer, reopen an attempt, or grant a retake. Your right to challenge an error through applicable procedures remains unaffected.

07

Certificates, badges, and sharing

6.1 Holder and credential

An issued certificate or badge identifies a specific holder and certification, with a unique credential identifier and verification link or QR code. Available downloads include the certificate PDF and personal badge formats provided by the Portal.

6.2 Sharing your achievement

You may share your own certificate, badge, or verification link, including on LinkedIn. Sharing makes the public credential details accessible to others. Copies published outside the Portal are not under our control.

6.3 Misrepresentation

  • Do not alter the holder name, score, certification, issue date, signature, or status.
  • Do not transfer or sell a credential as another person’s achievement.
  • Do not imply accreditation, endorsement, licensing, or recognition that the credential does not provide.
  • Do not create or distribute look-alike credentials to mislead others.

6.4 Verification and downloads

Check the online verification record for current status. It shows the holder name, certification, issue and expiry dates, and current validity or revoked status. Public lookup excludes grades, event details and private review reasons. Security checks and rate limits may apply. The Privacy Policy explains what is public.

Complete PDFs and personalized badges require the authenticated holder or an authorized reviewer. Reviewer copies carry a verification watermark. Current signature images are visual signatures, not cryptographic PDF signatures. A copied image, watermark, or metadata field alone does not establish authenticity.

6.5 Validity, corrections, and revocation

Certificates are valid for two years from issuance. The verification page shows the expiry date and marks expired credentials. Renewal requests open 90 days before expiry. Renewal requires passing a new assessment in an approved event batch, or through paid public registration if that service is later opened. Neither a request nor payment extends the old credential or guarantees a pass. Report identity or issuance errors to the organizer. Approval or download does not prevent revocation following a substantiated integrity decision. A revoked credential is marked accordingly in the verification record; contact the organizer if you dispute that status.

08

Fees, interruptions, and recovery

7.1 Registration prices and platform fee

Public checkout displays the certification fee in Indonesian rupiah (IDR), the separate platform service fee of 2% of that fee, and the total before you pay. The platform fee applies to the registration service, not a QRIS surcharge or a pass-through of the merchant’s MDR. Normal prices and any public discount are shown in the catalog. An eligible referral or discount code is applied before the platform fee; codes do not stack with public offers, and the lower eligible certification price applies. The percentage reduction is measured against the normal certification price. The final QRIS total may include a separately disclosed payment matching adjustment of Rp0–Rp99 so its final two digits can distinguish an active order. Check the exact total at the QRIS step; do not round or omit the matching amount. The order records the agreed prices. Event invitations may have different event-specific conditions. Direct commercial inquiries to sales@data-sorcerers.com.

7.1a Payment and manual review

Pay the exact order total to the named Data Sorcerers merchant. Upload the receipt and transaction reference before 00:00 WIB on the selected exam date. QR images contain the amount and an order reference, but do not report whether money has arrived. A receipt upload, screenshot, browser message, or QR checksum is not proof of settlement. An authorized administrator must independently check the actual merchant transaction history. Duplicate, mismatched, reused, illegible or unverifiable evidence may be rejected or referred for correction. Do not pay a second time merely because a review or email is pending.

7.1a-i Referral and discount codes

Codes may be limited by certification or level, total quota, start time and expiry. Checking a code does not reserve quota. Every new public order has a payment and receipt-submission deadline of up to 30 minutes after creation. A discounted order also holds one code slot for up to 30 minutes, or until an earlier code or submission deadline; the exact receipt-submission deadline is shown before payment. Receipt OCR reads supported amount and date/time formats to help the reviewer. OCR is not bank confirmation and never activates an account or exam by itself. An administrator must verify the exact amount, transaction identifier and payment time against the merchant history; the payment must have occurred inside the order window. Manual review may finish after that window if evidence was submitted on time. A submitted receipt retains its slot while under review; an approved use consumes quota permanently. An expired unpaid hold releases its slot. Do not pay using an expired saved QR; contact support if you have already paid. Code edits affect new checkouts, while existing valid orders keep their stored price. Applying a code does not confirm payment or grant exam access.

7.1b Selected certification date

A public registration reserves one attempt on the selected date, from 00:00 until the next 00:00 in WIB (UTC+7). Access is activated only after payment approval, and remains restricted to that calendar window. The earlier of the assessment timer and the window end is the final deadline, including when an exam is started late. Approval does not extend the window. Allow time for manual review; payment alone does not grant immediate access, a retake, a pass or a certificate.

7.1c Payment issues, cancellation and date changes

Contact contact@data-sorcerers.com with your order reference before paying if you need to clarify timing, cancellation or a date change. If you have already paid, preserve the merchant transaction reference and contact us promptly for duplicate payments, wrong amounts, missed review windows or unavailable service. Refund and rescheduling requests require human review of the payment and services provided; the Portal does not automatically issue refunds or renew attempts. The outcome and any replacement schedule must be communicated to you. These conditions do not limit mandatory consumer rights or remedies under applicable law.

7.2 Reporting a problem

  1. Use the recovery controls to continue the same attempt and retry pending uploads where available.
  2. Note the incident time, displayed error message, and support reference. Do not screenshot or record exam questions.
  3. Use Report issue in the exam or the support area, or contact contact@data-sorcerers.com if you cannot access the Portal.
  4. Describe the browser/device and steps that caused the problem. Keep unsent recordings and drafts available while recovery is in progress.

7.3 Effect of an interruption

A connection or device problem does not automatically extend the deadline, refund an event fee, or grant another attempt. Code reissuance also does not add an opportunity. Any complaint or remedy must be handled by the organizer under the applicable event conditions and law; these Terms do not create a retake exception to the one-attempt rule.

7.4 Service availability

Access can be affected by maintenance, power failures, network outages, or third-party service problems. We do not promise uninterrupted access. Organizers should communicate planned changes affecting scheduled exams. Report an interruption promptly so its effect can be assessed from the available records.

09

Content and responsible use

8.1 Rights in Portal content

Question banks, answer keys, grading test cases, branding, credential designs, and software belong to Data Sorcerers or their respective rights holders. Access permits use for your assigned assessment and legitimate credential sharing, not reproduction or redistribution of restricted content.

8.2 Submitted work

You retain rights you hold in original work you submit. Submission permits the service to store, execute for grading, and review that work for certification and dispute handling. It does not grant a general right to publish your answers or use them for unrelated promotion.

8.3 Security and acceptable use

Do not attack or overload the service, access another person’s records, run malicious code, bypass execution limits, or automate unauthorized collection of content or credentials. Do not upload unlawful content or material that infringes another person’s rights. Report suspected security issues privately without exposing participant data.

8.4 Access restrictions and account closure

Administrators may restrict access to address substantiated misuse or security incidents. You can ask for an explanation or raise a concern through the organizer. You may request account closure; deletion and continued credential verification must be handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10

Disputes, contact, and updates

9.1 Service limitations and legal rights

A certification is evidence of the stated assessment outcome, not a guarantee of employment, admission, or third-party acceptance. Technical controls cannot eliminate every service failure or integrity risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer and personal-data rights.

9.2 Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Start with the organizer for an account, assessment, or credential concern so it can be reviewed. Unresolved matters remain subject to applicable law and available complaint or dispute-resolution procedures. These Terms do not require compulsory arbitration or waive statutory remedies.

9.3 Notices and contact

Pyronyx Certification is operated by PT. Data Sorcerers Indonesia, part of Pyronyx Academy by Data Sorcerers.

Privacy, participant support, and appeals: contact@data-sorcerers.com. You may also contact your organizer through the official channel in your event invitation or registration confirmation.

Commercial and event partnership inquiries: partnership@data-sorcerers.com. Send privacy requests and assessment concerns to the contact address above.

Include your name, registered email, event, and the subject of your request. Never send your password, invitation token, or exam access code.

Contact & support →

Operational notices may appear in the Portal or come through your organizer. An invitation marked as sent records an organizer action or acceptance by the configured email provider; it does not guarantee inbox delivery or reading. A temporary first-access password expires after 24 hours and must be changed before protected participant access. Check the dashboard for your schedule and results, and keep your registered email accurate.

9.4 Updates

The update date and version identify these Terms. Material changes affecting participation should be communicated before they apply. A later notice does not silently replace the question package, saved answers, original deadline, or passing threshold of a session that has already started. If a provision is unenforceable, applicable law determines its effect and the continuing operation of the remaining terms.
